An aortic abscess associated with psoas abscess: A case report

In this article, we report a case in which psoas abscess opened into the aneurysmatic abdominal aorta, and formation was observed aortic lumen containing stent. A 57-year-old male patient presented to emergency department with complaint of pain. During examination patient, tenderness defense were detected right lower quadrant. Contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CT) angiography aorta ordered because had history previous stenting quadrant deficiency. iliopsoas muscle, there an increase size suggestive air densities. The diameter ascending 44 mm. At level descending thoracic bifurcation, appearance noted segment approximately 140 mm extending proximities both main iliac arteries, USG showed wall section mural thickening thrombus. case, although eroded wall, acute bleeding did not develop due presence We wanted share rare image on (massive air-fluid around stent lumen), especially our medical literature.
